Accanto Systems Introduces MSA-QX Protocol Analyzer
Analyzer sets new standard for features, performance and affordability in field-based protocol analysis
HELSINKI, Finland, February 12, 2009 - Accanto Systems (formerly Sunrise Telecom Protocol Products Group), a leader in Customer Service Assurance solutions for today's converged networks, announced today that it has introduced the MSA-QX protocol analyzer, a converged troubleshooting tool that sets new standard for features, performance and affordability in field-based troubleshooting for mobile and wireline networks.
The MSA-QX is a portable troubleshooting system for converged wireless and wireline networks, providing capabilities for 2G/2.5G/3G mobile, as well as IMS, VoIP and NGN analysis. The analyzer provides the power for virtually any application type, and is deisgned to be affordable for Tier2 and Tier 3 operators as well as operators in emerging countries.
The MSA-QX builds on top of the widely deployed MSA architecture, adding important features such as:
- Rapid Deployment Probe - Can serve as a rapidly deployable field-based probe for the TAMS centralized monitoring system, reducing the operators overall CAPEX requirements
- Remote Connectivity via WiFi - Can be remotely controlled via a local AD-HOC WiFi connection, making it ideal for hostile environments where it is impracticle to be near the network element(s)
- Powerful Hardware - Adds Xeon Quad Core X3060 2.4GHz CPU, 4GB 667MHz ECC RAM and fast, scalable high-speed Hard Drive architecture
