Accanto Adds Real-Time Service Quality Analysis and Pantera Hardware Probes to its intelligent Customer Service Assurance (iCSA) Solution

Accanto launches new probes and applications as part of its new Extreme CSA strategy at Mobile World Congress 2010

HELSINKI, Finland, February 16, 2010-Accanto Systems, a leader in Customer Service Assurance solutions for today's converged networks, announced today that it has added real-time Service Quality Analysis (SQA) capabilities, as well as new Service Quality Dashboards to its X-Ray analysis platform. Accanto has also announced general availability of its new high-performance Pantera All-in-One Probe and Protocol Analyzer family.

These new additions, which are a part of Accanto’s intelligent Customer Service Assurance (iCSA) platform, add critical capabilities that allow operators to manage the ‘extreme’ complexities of deploying, monitoring and troubleshooting new IP based services in converged telecom environments.

“New interactive IP based telecom services have opened up worlds of opportunity for both the operator and consumer,” said Michele Campriani, Chief Executive Officer for Accanto. “These new services are complicated by 2 factors, however. First, the new services must coexist with legacy voice, which still provides a majority of revenue. The new Pantera family of Probes / Analyzers builds on the success of Accanto’s acclaimed 3GMaster and NeTracker product lines, improving on several important elements making it ideal for mixed-technology environments:

  • New 10 Gb interface cards to handle massive traffic flows across the core
  • A more flexible GUI that allows test setup virtually unlimited protocol/interface combinations
  • Much more powerful hardware for fast, in-depth analysis and xDR generation
  • Improved IP filtering capabilities for core networks

In addition, Accanto has made significant enhancements to its X-Ray series of application modules for the iCSA platform:

  • New real-time Service Quality Analysis (SQA) alerts provide faster, more meaningful feedback to the operator on pressing service issues
  • A completely re-designed series of Service Quality Dashboards give the operator, for the first time, a concise birds-eye view of all network and service issues from the customer experience level
