“5G, virtualization and cloudification prove fundamental to network service delivery”
Helsinki, Finland, 16 January 2019, Accanto, a leader NFV and cloud-native networking is pleased to announce their speaking session at IBM’s Think 2019 in San Francisco, California, from the 12-15 February 2019.
The session called, “5G At the Edge: Managing Rapidly Growing Networks At Enterprise Speed”, with Accanto’s CTO, Brian Naughton and IBM’s IBM Cloud Offering Manager, Denis Murphy will take place at 9.30am on Friday 15 February. It will discuss how, combined with more connections and lower latency, the bandwidth challenge has spurred the introduction of 5G with network virtualization and cloudification as fundamental in realizing network services delivery.
It will pose the theory that, to survive, CSPs must strive to create living networks that can outthink demand and outperform expectations. With the developments in 5G capabilities, and in multi-access edge computing initiatives, software management and automation tools need to help in significant new ways.
Key messages will include:
- Radical cost take-out of operations through standardization, simplification and automation with AI at scale to help sustain profit growth.
- Machine-enabled automation of the service life cycle and service operations to accelerate innovation at scale.
- Institutionalization of a DevOps to create a network innovation factory approach and open source culture to continuously build, onboard, test and manage new services in a resilient way.
