Accanto Named Red Hat
ISV Advanced Partner

Solution based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform and Accanto Systems’ iCEM offers operators increased visibility into subscribers and the network

Lahti, Finland, 2 June 2015, Accanto Systems, an established provider of customer experience management (CEM) and advanced analytics, today announced that it has become a Red Hat ISV Advanced Partner.

By collaborating with Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, Accanto Systems offers customers a communications-specific big data analytics platform for mobile and fixed line networks that unifies telecoms service provider data sources to enable real-time, deep visibility into network operations and customer quality of experience (QoE). With advanced decision-making tools and insight into individual subscriber behavior, network trends, and service issues, the network can be optimized for better service planning and operations in order to improve subscriber satisfaction.

To differentiate on service quality and personalized offerings, a communications service provider (CSP) must gain a better view of customers, meaning huge amounts of data from many sources need to be analyzed across its infrastructure. Based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform and Accanto Systems’ Intelligent Customer Experience Management (iCEM), the solution unifies data sources, giving increased visibility into subscribers and the network, providing the operator with actionable insight.

“We are pleased to join forces with Red Hat through its Advanced ISV partner program. Red Hat technology and support provide the resources we need to build out innovative offerings for operators that are reliable, highly available and secure, and that deliver high performance,” said Jarkko Multanen, CEO, Accanto Systems.

“As the type and volume of mobile apps and services proliferate, CSPs have a wealth of data on subscriber preference and behavior that can be used to improve the experience and develop new service offerings. We’re pleased to be working with Accanto to address the challenge of tapping data stored across disparate sources to perform an accurate analysis of QoE. With Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform we’re providing a carrier-grade, scalable, and stable foundation for an advanced solution to enable CSPs to unify data sources and get real-time, deep visibility into network operations and customer QoE,” said Radhesh Balakrishnan, general manager, OpenStack, Red Hat.

The solution offers operators the following benefits:
iCEM Customer Driven Operations. Uses subscriber experience metrics to help prioritize network operations and maintenance based on business value.
iCEM Network Analytics. Analyzes multi-domain network trends and traffic patterns to provide insight for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
iCEM Customer Analytics. Delivers insight into subscriber behavior through micro-segmentation and QoE analysis.
iCEM Customer Care. Provides fast, proactive, customer-centric troubleshooting of service issues with peer-group and root cause analysis.
iCEM Mobile. Accurately measures and reports real-time QoE, including signal strength, service quality, and data usage, from the customer’s mobile device.

By extending its relationship with Red Hat to become an ISV Advanced Partner, Accanto is able to grow its open source practice while building on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat JBoss Middleware competencies.

Accanto will be exhibiting at TM Forum Live! in Nice, France, on booth #69, from the 2nd-5th June 2015.
